About us
We’re a Bonney Lake, WA nonprofit that assembles and ships care packages to active-duty U.S. service members, provides hardship grants to military families, and funds veteran homeless services in Pierce County. We raise funds through donations, community events, popcorn & 3D-printed item sales, and corporate sponsorships.
Our Mission
To bridge the distance between our brave service members deployed overseas and the homes they protect. We send carefully curated care packages, filled with comfort, necessities, and a touch of home, to remind each and every troop that they are cherished, not forgotten, and deeply loved. We believe a small act of kindness can make a world of difference, boosting morale and bringing a piece of home to those who sacrifice so much for our freedom.
Meet Our Founder
The Hall Foundation is the legacy of military family love, born from the heart of Rani Hall. Her journey began with her deep love for her husband, Specialist Hall, an Army servicemember whose deployments showed Rani the profound isolation troops can feel overseas. Following his passing, Rani, now a widow, resolved to transform her personal grief into a powerful mission: ensuring no other soldier felt forgotten.
Her motivation was cemented when her firstborn son followed in his father’s footsteps, currently serving as a PFC Reservist stationed at JBLM. Rani founded The Hall Foundation to bridge the thousands of miles with tangible love. Her work is a deeply personal endeavor to honor her late husband, support her son, and send a message of morale and appreciation to every brave individual serving far from home.
Our Values
Our commitment to serving deployed troops is built upon a foundation of core values that guide everything we do:
Gratitude and Respect: We hold the deepest respect and unwavering gratitude for the sacrifices our service members make. This thankfulness is the driving force behind every care package we send.
• Heart and Home: We operate with empathy and heart, believing that a touch of home can be the greatest morale booster. We strive to fill our packages with items that convey warmth, comfort, and personal connection.
• Reliability and Trust: We are committed to accountability and transparency, ensuring that every donation, item, and effort directly supports the troops we aim to serve, delivering on our promise to remind them they are loved.
• Inclusivity and Unity: We believe in the power of community and unity. Our mission is non-political and non-denominational—we simply serve all who wear the uniform, bringing together citizens from all walks of life to show their support.
